Alnitak offers Maths and Science Tuition programmes, and Science and Astronomy enrichment programmes such as workshops/seminars/courses, camps, and study trips.

Muhammad Faizal bin Othman is the founder and CEO of Alnitak Enrichment Centre. Established in 2007, Alnitak has been developing and conducting many educational programmes including its signature Alnitak Astronomy programmes and Science enrichment programmes.

Faizal holds a bachelor degree in Science from National University of Singapore and a master's degree in education from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. He was a former Scientific Officer from Science Centre Singapore and was in-charge of the Observatory, where he conducted weekly Astronomy lectures to students, teachers and public. He is a resource person in MABIMS Falak committee. His advice is sought for determination of the Ramadan, Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Raya Haji dates in Singapore.

Apart from his education business, Faizal is active in community work. He was awarded the Public Service Medal in 2013.
