The Arya family has had a long history of being actively involved in the transport industry in India. Our first venture was "Air Carrying Corporation" which was the country's first private airline in post independence India moving progessively from cargo to passenger transportation from 1948 upto 1969 when the company was nationalized with the advent of the government owned "Indian Airlines Corp." Therefater the family moved into inland waterways and road transport and till date operates one of the largest domestic trucking companies in India.



The second generation of the family ventured into shipping in 1978 and Aryacorp was born as a proprietorship firm and converted into a limited company in 1981. The brainchild of Mr. Prithviraj Arya, the company has grown over the last 3 decades to emerge as one of India's foremost and most respected dry cargo shipbroking, maritime advisory and agency companies
