Caltron Components (S) Pte Ltd (Caltron) is a subsidiary of an American company, Caltron Components Corporation, based in Santa Clara, California USA. Established in 1990, our mission is to provide geographical sales coverage for Asia Pacific. Caltron is strategically located in Singapore where many North American and European OEMs and EMS have chosen to relocate their volume manufacturing since the 80's. Over the years, Caltron has successfully helped many of our Principals keep business that has moved to the Far East.
Caltron is not just another representative who is only capable of fulfilling existing business for our principals. We are a technically competent representative who has demonstrated our strength in generating new businesses through demand creation. We work closely with Design Engineers to gain engineering approvals. We handle quality complaints, contract negotiations, credit and collection...etc. Caltron also operates a consigned inventory program with EDI and barcoding capabilities. The program enables our overseas principals to be proactive in new requirements roll out by major customers under the various Supply Chain Management initiatives such as VMI.
