Chibitronics is an evolution of Jie Qis passion for technology and art in the form of paper electronics. She hopes to share this new way of learning circuits and creating art, so that everyone can become technology creators rather than technology consumers.
Jie is currently pursuing her graduate studies in the Responsive Environments Group at the MIT Media Lab. Her research investigates materials and techniques for blending electronics with traditional arts and crafts media to create personally meaningful technology and new media for self-expression.
