Grand Vin is founded by Mr. Derek Lee, a pioneer in the wine industry in Singapore for more than 20 years. He left Seagram and started Grand Vin Pte Ltd in 1996. He launched his operation in Singapore after more than 20 years of service as a wine specialist with prestigious brands like Domaine de la Romanee Conti, Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), E.Guigal, Domaine Leflaive. As of 2012, Grand Vin holds multiple exclusive wine agencies and continue to grow its portfolio with prestigious fine wines.

Grand Vin continued to grow over the years by successfully acquiring new fine wine brands such as Jean-Pierre Moueix, Champagne Louis Roederer, Domaine Ponsot, Domaine Faiveley, Pio Cesare, Domaines Schlumberger, Schlossgut Diel, Dominus Estate and many others.
