Principal Occupational Therapist

Ms Adeline Kho graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (with distinction) from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She was placed on the Deans Honours List for her straight 4.0 GPA results at the university. Adeline's research thesis was on mental imagery in primary school children and investigated the effects of mental imagery on mathematics and arts abilities. She also holds a Diploma in Occupational Therapy from Nanyang Polytechnic. In addition, Adeline is certified in the following:
The Sensory Integration model (including administering and interpreting the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test). The SIPT is a comprehensive assessment tool regarded as the gold standard for evaluating sensory integration and praxis functions. The test was created to understand why some children struggle with learning and/or display negative behaviours which are not explained by other diagnoses.
The DIR®/FloortimeTM Model (Basic), used to develop a comprehensive developmentally based intervention understanding the individual differences in childrens ways of modulating sensations, language functioning, motor planning and sequencing.

Occupational Therapist

Ms Guo Yixin graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from Queen Margaret University, UK after completing a Diploma in Occupational Therapy at Nanyang Polytechnic. Her honours thesis was about school based practice in Singapore: exploring the need for occupational therapy in mainstream primary schools. Yixin has attended training for the Handwriting without Tears program and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). She has a lifelong passion to make a difference in others' lives, especially with children.
