This website is intended to introduce to you the very basic information on Dynamic Positioning (DP), a marine automation system which is increasingly
and prominently used in vessels supporting offshore, oil and gas explorations, operations and productions.

Other than air, water, sun and food, our world is extremely dependent on oil and gas to keep you, me and everything else in motion and alive.
In fact, DP system plays an important and major role to assist and to keep oil exploration, drilling and production operative with minimum delays and
with higher safety benchmark.

Major offshore fields are in Brazil, Gulf of Mexico, North Sea and West Africa, with comparatively smaller scale in Russia, India, Indonesia, Australia
and Malaysia... to name a few.
