Our History and Vision

We are a group of four doctors who were the founding directors of the premier Silver Cross Group of Clinics. When the four partners started out more than a decade ago, our shared vision was to provide effective, up-to-date and ethical health care for the community. There was, in particular, a need for an extended hour health care service which was easily accessible to the public. In 1997, our first two pioneer doctors, Dr Soh Wah Ngee and Dr Boey Kok Hoe established the very first Silver Cross clinic in Holland Village, providing a 24-hour, 7 day a week medical service, which was the first such practice in the central region of Singapore.

Following the success of the Holland Village practice, Dr Daniel Lim Wei Liang and Dr Jasper Yang Chyan Han, together with Dr Toh Sheng Cheong as an associate doctor, started the second Silver Cross clinic in Yishun in 1999. Subsequently, to meet the increasing demand for our services, more Silver Cross clinics were established island wide, in Jurong West, Marsiling, Upper Bukit Timah and Serangoon Central.

Our successful formula was due wholly to a select team of dedicated physicians, who were not only highly experienced and qualified, but more importantly, shared the vision of the team in providing quality, ethical medical care.

Our Future
As our medical practice thrived and progressed, we decided to move on and embark on a new group practice named OneDoctors. Our new name embodies the common vision and spirit shared by the same group of doctors. We endeavour to continue our high standard of medical care in our new practices, soon to be established at Novena Ville (opposite Novena Church) and Ang Mo Kio Central (next to AMK Hub).

In a fast changing world with ever evolving heath care needs and medical advancements, we will adhere to our original vision which we began and realised more than 10 years ago, that is, to provide effective, up- to- date and ethical health care for the community.
