About Us
Dr Pritam Singh is a Gynecologist & Gynecologic Oncologist specialising in treatment of women with both non-cancer conditions and all cancers affecting their reproductive and genital systems. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Malaya in 1974 and then trained in Leeds, England going on to obtain the membership of the RCOG (with Gold Medal) in London in 1979.
He held an academic position in the National University of Singapore (NUS) which involved teaching undergraduates and postgraduates as well as research and treatment focusing on precancers and cancers in Singaporean women.
In 1983 he was awarded a 2 year scholarship by NUS for further training in Gynecologic Oncology. He was a Gynecologic Oncology Fellow in Chicago at Rush-Presbyterian-St Lukes Medical Centre of Rush University and at renowned cancer treatment centres at St Bartholomews and Royal Marsden Hospitals in London. Returning to Singapore, he was appointed as a Senior Consultant at Kandang Kerbau Hospital for Women and the National University Hospital where he undertook teaching, research and treating women with gynecologic cancers.
In 1988 he was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore and has been on the SMC Register of Specialists and an Accredited Specialist by the MOH since inception in 1998.In 1990 he left for private practice in Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

Dr Pritam Singh works with a team consisting of pathologists, radiologists, surgeons with special skills, radiotherapists, anesthetists and dedicated nurses to provide optimal management for all gynecologic cancer patients. In special circumstances, management of complex problems and selection of best treatment from several options for some cancers management is selected following presentation at a Gynecologic Cancer Tumour Board or consultations with local or overseas experts which assures the patient of complete confidence in the management of their illness.
Serene Chang is the most senior of our team of clinic staff. Serene has been with our clinic for many years, in fact from the beginning of our practice at Mount Elizabeth. Patients appreciate her constant presence over the many years they have been attending the clinic and find ther familiarity with her most reassuring. Many regard her as a friend and a source of great comfort. Serene is both friendly, helpful and with her many years of experience is able to answer all their questions and provide information of planned treatments. With her experience of working closely with Dr Pritam she assists in all gynaecologic and obstetrics procedures and other treatments performed in the clinic.
Jessie is our receptionist with a warm welcoming smile for all at their first encounter with her. Jessie with her big smile and her bright chirpy personality makes all who attend our clinic feel welcome and at ease. She is always helpful for all phone enquiries being the first to answer phone calls. Jessie is multilingual and besides English is able to converse very well in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Hokkien, Cantonese and Mandarin. She is the main person who answers all phone calls, arranges appointments and replies to email enquiries for appointments.
Valerie Tan is a Senior Staff nurse and following qualification in nursing, she specially trained in Oncology Nursing. Valerie provides pre-chemotherapy counselling, information regarding details of treatment, pre and post chemo medications and other preparatory instructions to patients who undergo chemotherapy. She administers the chemotherapy under careful and constant supervision with close monitoring of the patient. Valerie is familiar with surgical procedures and also a competent trained surgical assistant. Valerie also performs post-surgery procedures, dispenses all medications and provides instructions for wound and post-surgical care and instructions on use of any medications
