The objectives of the federation are to

Unite groups, ensembles and Chinese orchestras across Singapore;
Promote, disseminate and raise the profile of uniquely Singaporean works and composers;
Establish and strengthen Chinese cultural ties within and beyond Singapore.

Through the staging of concerts, organisation of competitions, issuing of publications among other projects, the Federation will promote Chinese music extensively in Singapore.

The federation currently comprises an executive steering committee of a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer as well as three sub-committees:

Operations and Membership Recruitment
Research and Education
External Relations

Each of the sub-committees will plan and undertake bold and visionary projects to meet the federations aims and objectives.
