Our company name comes from the Italian word Segnavia?, meaning signpost. In 2009 we used the meaning of this word to create Signavio. Today our software serves as a signpost through the daily workflows of over 800 customers.
Knowledge about a process is usually divided between several different people and often just passed on verbally or documented in Excel®. A process model provides you with the answers to all of these questions. Its structure is similar to that of a road map; you can trace the journey from start to finish with your fingertip and discuss the individual parts of the route and the different crossings as you come to them.
