Sindo Damai Group of Companies is a joint venture between Indonesian and Singapore partners. It is dedicated to operate feeder services between Singapore and the region. On the Singapore side, the partner is the Seamaritime Group of Companies and other Singapore investors. Since her birth in 1996, the company is committed to provide prompt and quality shipping services that will give our customers a competitive edge.

Company History
Our humble beginning started with the company first maiden feeder voyage to Kuala Tunggal, Sumatra, Indonesia in 1996. We were running a dedicated feeder for our customer, PT STUD, a prominent plywood and container floorboard producer in Indonesia. Prior to this, all cargo from PT STUD were handled by conventional vessel. We take pride in introducing the concept of containerization to the factory. With improved cost efficiency and shorter transit for the cargo to reach destinations, the volume expanded and the second vessel was shortly introduced later the same year.

With such encouraging results, the company decided to explore new markets in order to bring the FCL concept to other such niche markets. Since then, we have introduced our containerized services to other ports like Jambi, Guntung, Kijang (Bintan Island) and other river ports.

Today, we have a fleet of 7 vessels running between Singapore and Indonesia. Our overall volume expanded from 1475 TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) to more than 28,000 TEUs today. We capitalized on our strength of being small and nimble to expand extensively in this volatile feeder market. Unlike other conventional feeders, Sindo Damai works on the concept of efficiency and effectiveness to deliver world-class shipping services to our clientele.

Currently she owned vessel like Sindo Hawk, Sindo Eagle, SD Pearl, SD Emerald and Sindo Gull.
