Soon Watt & Co. is one of the most established bicycle shops in Singapore. Founded by Mr Ng Mong Heng (Ah Boon) in the mid-1950s, the company started out selling entry-level bicycles meant for daily commuting proposes as well as providing repair and maintenance services for its customers.In 1970, Soon Watt & Co. began selling road bikes and by the early 1980s, a wide range of bicycles including BMX and mountain bikes were offered. As the business expanded, one key feature of the business remained the same: the practice of providing quality products and services at competitive prices.

Ah Boon, being an avid cycling enthusiast, has spearheaded Soon Watt & Co. since its establishment. Ever supportive of the local cycling fraternity, he has sponsored riders and teams as well as organised many local and overseas rides during his earlier years.

Victor Yew joined Ah Boon in the mid-1990s as a partner of Soon Watt & Co. This forward-thinking owner of a successful construction business injected a dose of modernity into the company, which has resulted in how the business runs today.
