UBTs tradition of providing finest standards in the construction industry began in 1980 when the company was founded in Singapore by principal shareholders Mr Yim Teck Lim and Mr Lim Kok Yu, registered building and civil engineering contractors. The first milestone was created during our first year of operation, when UBT was awarded a major contract by Union Carbide (S) Pte Ltd to build its factory complex and office at Gul Way in Jurong, Singapore. The years that followed saw UBT progress and venture regionally into Malaysia and Myanmar. Throughout our 34 year history, UBT has delivered numerous projects, earning accolades and reputation for construction excellence from our clients.
