WP CONSULT Singapore Private Limited (WPCSPL) was founded in 2012 by Lars Vissing to provide price competitive consultancy and project management services to the wind power industry.
With our central location in Singapore and with focus on the Asian markets, our mission is to become a respected partner in management and development services in the wind farm industry.
Founded in 2012, WP CONSULT Singapore delivers services and solutions to all wind energy projects.
2 main focus areas for our services
The services WPCSPL are able to provide are concentrated on 2 main focus areas: Project Development and Project Management Services. The Project Development part focus on initial evaluation of the opportunity, its associated risks, challenges and outputs through to full delivery and operation.
The Project Management leg focus on managing the construction of large scale projects, working primarily in the energy sector.
We have been involved in projects in different project roles, providing expertise together with multi-disciplined teams for both short and long term assignments.
Based in Singapore, we operates globally and is currently involved in projects in Pakistan, however we have experience working with projects in China, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and from various offshore projects in Denmark and Germany.
We are dedicated to working in partnership with our clients, helping you to reduce risk, plan, design, and operate your on-or offshore wind projects profitably and with confidence.

Our involvement has been in various functions and positions such as FDIC Engineer, Project Director, Project Manager, HSE Manager, Site Manager and Construction Manager.
Some of our expertise has been developed in the oil and gas environment and we are committed to applying this knowledge, technology and safety culture in the on- and offshore wind farm market.

Management
Lars Vissing
Lars Vissing is founder of WP CONSULT Singapore and has a background of over 15 years in the energy sector in varied roles working for consultancies, wind turbine manufacturers and subsea valve actuation suppliers to the oil and gas industry.
Since 2002, Lars Vissing has joined the Wind Energy sector with various positions on offshore projects in Europe, expecially as construction manager on the fabrication and installation of the offshore substation platform for Rodsand II and as Wind Turbine specialist for the development of the Goodewind if offshore project in Germany.
However, most significantly, Lars Vissing has worked and lived around various places in the asia pacific region for more than 6 years, doing major onshore projects in Pakistan, Thailand, China, South Korea and Taiwan.

Fauji Foundation (FF), 2×50 MW EPC Turn-key, Ghard Sindh, Pakistan
Nordex Singapore Equipment Pte. Ltd. has nominated WPCSPL the role of Senior Project Management Consultant (SPMC) for a 2 x 50 MW onshore wind power project in Gharo Sindh Province, Pakistan.
These 2 projects (100 MW) has been in development for the last 3 years and has the equity partners Fauji Foundation (FF), Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited, Cap Asia (MP) and Tapals. These sponsors are putting up to 6 billion PKR (63 mill. USD) in the form of equity into the projects (in total).
In the last year the sponsors accelerated the development of the projects by appointing a consortium of Nordex (SE) and Descon Engineering Limited (Pakistan) as turn-key EPC contractors for the development of the projects. The sponsors also mandated National Bank of Pakistan for the local financing and Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the foreign portion.
The projects were awarded a reference tariff for the generation of electricity along with their electricity licence by NEPRA as a result of which the financing agreements have been signed. Upon completion of the security documentation, construction of the projects is expected to commence in third quarter of 2012 and the projects are expected to be operational by June 2014.
