Founded by two visionaries, Taher Uddin and Tay Beng Boon, Yamato Technologies® Pte Ltd. was incorporated in December 2007. The two conceived of the idea while competing their studies at the National University of Singapore and Yamato began operations as a small service engineering company in Singapore.

Yamato is focused on providing service support for the marine, offshore, manufacturing and process industries. Its core competencies are split across three business verticals, namely Hydraulic Systems, M&E and Energy Systems.

Since its founding, when just three professionals pioneered the companys operations, Yamato has grown rapidly and today boasts a team strength of more than 60 highly skilled professionals.

Today, our core businesses centre on all aspects of mechanical, electrical and other related engineering services. We continuously upgrade our capabilities through continuous innovation, staff-training and new machinery procurement. Yamato Technologies® is able to stay ahead of its peers as a result of services the company provides across the spectrum, ranging from consultation, planning and design to project management and supervision, as well as the commissioning of facilities and equipment.

In only its fourth year of business operation, the company received the Successful Entrepreneur 2011 award from the Economic Development Board, a testament to Yamatos standing in this industry.
