About Sarah B Yoga classes in West Singapore
Sarah B ? ?B? for Barguirdjian- has been teaching Yoga classes in West Singapore for 4 years.
She began teaching Yoga formally 10 years ago in Granada, Spain. She has found Yoga to be an endless source of self transformation and strength and has drawn on its teachings to become more mindful and patient through lifes challenges.
She was first introduced to Hatha Yoga at school as a teenager and has since practiced and studied many styles including Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin and Anusara. However, her love for the precision and method of Iyengar Yoga has laid the foundation for her own practice and teaching.
Sarah is passionate about teaching in the most engaging way possible and strives to help people fulfil their potential, on and off the Yoga mat.
Having had multiple back issues though years of competitive tennis playing, she has also become particularly knowledgeable on how to safely use Yoga poses to keep the spine limber, safe, strong and young.
Sarah has learned (and continues to learn) from wonderful teachers around the world including Noah Maze, Sarah Powers, Christina Sell, Judith Hanson Lasater, Desiree Rumbaugh and Sianna Sherman.
She has completed two 200 hour teacher training courses, numerous teaching workshops, is a Thai massage therapist at advanced level and has a diploma in Anatomy and Physiology. Sarah is also a Rainbow kids certified childrens Yoga instructor.
Other formal teacher trainings have been in London with Sarah Powers in Yin/ Yang Yoga and meditation and with Judith Lasater in Restorative Yoga.
Sarah has also completed an advanced 18 month 300 hour teacher training course with Noah Maze which led to her RYT-500 status with Yoga Alliance.
She has worked as an English teacher and tennis coach and lived in the UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Spain and now Singapore.
She is registered with Yoga Alliance and The Independent Yoga Register and is available to teach in English and Spanish.
